Ida joined Atlanta Natural Hair Care in August of 2009. Ida Harris has been a natural hair stylist for 15 years. Her work has been featured in Essence, Natural Hair Styles, and Braids and Beauty magazines. She has also written several editorial pieces on natural hair care and culture. Her website, HOTPEEZNBUTTA, features blogs about natural hair care and happenings in the natural hair care community.
Alyssa & Nicole joined Atlanta Natural Hair Care this month, June of 2010. They are the creators of L.Y.N.K.H. (Love Your Natural Kinky Hair). L.Y.N.K.H is a support group for naturally textured hair, those transitioning to natural hair or individuals that would like to share their hair journey. L.Y.N.K.H.'s goal is to provide information, natural hair care product recommendations, and homemade recipes along with LynkhUp events to discuss our natural hair care needs face-to-face. Atlanta Natural Hair Care is launching a new advice column, “Ask Kenya", featuring expert stylist and co-creator of the Natural Styling Guide DVD, Kenya Fauntleroy.
"Ask Kenya" will premier on Wednesday, June 30, 2010. Kenya will answer questions about transitioning from chemically treated hair to natural hair. She will also answer questions about maintaining and styling natural hair.
