Tachia Pech joined at Atlanta Natural Hair Care August 2010. As a member of Atlanta Naturals, she recently stepped up to become the Organizer, saving the Meetup.com group from being closed down. Under Tachia's leadership Atlanta Naturals has expanded its scope. "[Atlanta Natural's] main focus is natural hair care, but we will also cover all aspects of living natural; including but not limited to body, mind and spirit. In addition to events about our natural hair and natural living, we will also show our sisterly love to our communities through service."

Kim Thomas joined Atlanta Natural Hair Care this month, October 2010. Kim is the creator of Afro Puffs and Ponytails. "Afro Puffs and Ponytails is a positive website that provides encouraging articles, events, program listings, and resources for African American/Black teen girls, young girls, and their parents. [Our Purpose is] to inspire and recognize success in African American young girls and teen girls. We seek to empower African American young girls and teen girls by teaching the importance of taking care of the mind, body, and spirit."
